About the role

Our Central-West Orana project is currently seeking a dedicated Cost Controller to share their expertise within our growing team. In this role, you will ensure accurate reporting of project costs and monitor budgets against deliverables relating to staffing. You will prepare financial reports to support project budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze project costs, forecasts, and Risks and Opportunities (R&O).

• Assess forecast assumptions, contingency allowances, and identify emerging trends and issues.

• Prepare internal cost transfers and monthly accruals.

• Present monthly project cost performance to internal management.

• Provide budget variance explanations and drive actions to mitigate risks and maximize opportunities, ensuring alignment with our renewable energy goals.

• Foster collaborative behaviors with budget owners to challenge budgets and forecasts, driving improvements in financial outcomes.

• Support the Finance department and the wider project team in meeting reporting deadlines.

Criteria for Selection

• Preferred experience in Infrastructure Projects.

• 5-7 years of prior project cost control experience.

• Relevant qualifications in a related discipline, combined with fundamental subject matter knowledge.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated experience collaborating across multiple stakeholder groups.

• Ability to work with limited supervision and multitask effectively to meet deadlines.

• Strong MS Excel skills.

About the Role

Our Central-West Orana project is currently seeking a dedicated Senior Procurement Officer to share their expertise within the Procurement team. Responsible for the timely supply of materials and services for the ACJV and establishment, placement and management of appropriate contract arrangements with suppliers, to deliver the cost, schedule, quality and safety requirements of the business, through effective relationship and performance management, maximize value and minimize risk.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the project's Procurement Plan and Execution Strategy for critical, long-lead, and civil works packages.

• Build and maintain strong supplier and subcontractor relationships to ensure value for money and support sustainability targets.

• Manage the full tender process: documentation, evaluation, pricing analysis, and award recommendations.

• Perform buy/lease/purchase evaluations, self-perform vs subcontract comparisons, and normalisation analysis to support informed decisions.

• Apply structured negotiation tactics to secure favourable commercial outcomes.

• Maintain transparent, compliant tender governance across all stages.

• Forecast procurement needs with the Delivery Team across materials, equipment, services, and civil works.

• Update and maintain accurate asset tracking with the Cost Control Manager.

• Contribute to monthly procurement reporting with accurate data and insights.

• Identify procurement risks and implement mitigation strategies.

• Conduct post-award meetings, clarifications, and onboarding for suppliers and subcontractors.

About the Role

Our Central-West Orana project is currently seeking a Finance Administrator to join the team that will be responsible for working closely with leaders, employees, candidates and various internal / external stakeholders.

• Assist with monthly payroll, including timesheets, ABA files, and payslips.

• Create and issue invoices and remittance advices.

• Manage accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments.

• Enter payable invoices and prepare banking files.

• Assist with preparing financial reports for the Executive team and government submissions.

• Maintain staff records and support onboarding of new staff.

• Respond to stakeholder account enquiries with professionalism and care.

Our Central-West Orana project is currently seeking a dedicated Environmental Coordinator to share their expertise within our growing Environmental & Sustainability team. You will support the team with implementing the requirements of the Project's Construction Environment Management Plan.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement the CEMP and comply with EPL requirements.

• Conduct noise and vibration assessments and draft out-of-hours work permits.

• Undertake environmental monitoring and regular site inspections.

• Participate in client inspections, ensuring timely close-out of actions and reporting.

• Proactively mitigate environmental and compliance risks with site teams.

• Conduct incident investigations, manage reporting, and keep waste registers up to date.

• Drive sustainability efforts and conduct environmental training sessions.

• Champion environmental management, safety, and sustainability, ensuring compliance with standards and promoting a positive culture.

Criteria for Selection

• Preferably 3+ years in Environmental Management within Construction, Engineering or other relevant experience.

• Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, Science, Sustainability or; Certificate IV Environment

• Proven ability to work and collaborate as part of a team

About the Role

The Training Coordinator supports the facilitation and delivery of internal and external training for the Project. Working closely with funding bodies and external training providers to ensure the delivery of appropriate and timely training whilst providing project wide support. The role supports accurate and timely data collection and reporting to support compliance with Project deed requirements.

• Support delivery of Project Induction and onboarding programs

• Facilitate scheduling, booking, and coordinating training for project personne

• Collate training evaluation feedback provided by personnel for both internal and external training

• Support the development and contribute to the review of Project Specific Training documentatio

• Assist with scheduled training and compliance audits as required

• Ensures accurate and timely data collection and supports monthly and quarterly Project compliance reporting

Criteria for Selection

• Minimum 2 years' experience in employment support or vocational training or adult educational management within the construction, infrastructure or energy sectors

• Ability to interpret and implement regulatory requirements.

Our Central-West Orana project is currently seeking dedicated Project Engineers across multiple disciplines, including Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Commissioning, Building Cabling, Structural and Steel to share their expertise within our growing Energy Hubs and Substations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all quality and environmental aspects of the project are addressed to maintain effective operation and project delivery.

• Monitors and controls subcontractors' performance and ensures the quality and standard of workmanship is in accordance with the specifications.

• Ensures that project team completes all outstanding defects as a matter of priority.

• Ensures implementation of project quality plan

• Supervise and coordinate resource allocation with the expectation that you would encourage effective teamwork and foster a positive attitude toward the achievement of organisational objectives.

• Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.

• Prepare project status reports and change orders.

• Manage and maintain effective liaison and communication with all levels of internal and external shareholders on all matters relating to the construction activities.

• Participate in Client/contractor meetings and resolving Client/engineering and project management issues.

• Ensuring all relevant regulatory requirements are satisfied

• Working knowledge of HS&E requirements and implementation of same

Project Engineer positions start in our project office in Sydney CBD, with occasional site visits. Once the project is fully operational, it will transition to DIDO 14 days onsite in camp style accommodation and 7 days off site, on a roster-based arrangement out of the Central-West Orana Region.
