Expression of interest in accessing Free Grant Writing Support

To help navigate the grant application process, ACEREZ will provide free grant writing support to eligible applicants.

Please answer the following questions to confirm your eligibility. ACEREZ will contact eligible applicants with details on how to access the free grant writing support.

1. Which ACEREZ Community Grants Program priority area/areas will your project address?

Public amenity

Education

Sports

Agriculture

Health

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Communities

2. Is your project implemented within the following local government area (LGA)?

Upper-Hunter Shire Council

Warrumbungle Shire Council

Dubbo Regional Council

Mid-Western Regional Council

3. Is your group or organisation one of the following types?

Volunteer organisations, such as the SES or Rural Fire Service brigade that is individually incorporated

Not-for-profit community organisations

Incorporated Local Aboriginal Land Councils or Aboriginal community organisations

Local councils of Dubbo Regional Council, Mid-Western Regional Council, Upper Hunter Shire Council and Warrumbungle Shire Council

Not any of the above, but we are officially supported by one of the organisation types listed above (this arrangement is called ‘auspicing’)

4. Does your project require any development approvals (DAs) or landowner/asset manager permissions?

Applications to promote religious beliefs or politically-related activities

Applications to promote drug and alcohol, tobacco or other inappropriate activities

Applications to pay for wages, prizes, ongoing rental fees, utilities fees, or to cover retrospective payments

Applications to enhance or upgrade a private/council-owned property without written consent or support from the property owner (you can still apply for funding if you are in the process of obtaining the owner’s consent or the Development Approval)
