Community Grants Program
At ACEREZ, our commitment to supporting our communities is paramount.
As the network operator appointed by EnergyCo for the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ), we want to leave a legacy by delivering tangible, long-term benefits for the region. We also recognise earning and retaining trust with our stakeholders is critical to the successful delivery and ongoing operation of our project.
We are proud to launch our Community Grants Program, a three-year multimillion-dollar investment program that aims to leave a legacy that extends beyond the completion of the transmission project.
The funding will be delivered over five rounds from early 2026 to 2028.
The ACEREZ program complements funding already being delivered by EnergyCo under the Community and Employment Benefit Program, giving the region multiple avenues of support as the REZ progresses.
Our vision is to partner with our diverse communities to understand local needs and deliver improved, long-term social outcomes.
Further information can be found in our ACEREZ Community Grants Program brochure.
Applications for small and significant grants will open in March 2026. ACEREZ will assist applicants at any stage of the process. You can get in touch with us by calling, emailing, visiting our Community Information Centre in Mudgee or by attending an upcoming event or application writing workshop. Support is offered online and in person.
Contact information can be found here.
We know applying can be time consuming so we are here to help and will offer free grant writing assistance.
Further information can be found in our ACEREZ Community Grants Program brochure.
