Key Responsibilities

• Support the design and implementation of environmental controls to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and minimize environmental impact.

• Perform regular environmental monitoring, including erosion and sediment control inspections, water and sediment sampling, and dust monitoring.

Job Description

The Senior Project Planner will play a pivotal role in planning and scheduling substation construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. This role involves working closely with project managers, engineers, procurement, and construction teams to develop, monitor, and control project schedules, The planner will provide analytical support, identify risks, and suggest mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules (Level 1–4), including engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning activities for substation projects

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather input and maintain alignment on project milestones, timelines, and deliverables

• Monitor progress and performance against the baseline schedule and provide regular updates and reports to project leadership and clients

• Conduct critical path analysis, identify schedule risks and delays, and develop recovery plans

• Prepare project planning documentation including schedules, look-ahead, S-curves, resource histograms, and earned value management (EVM) reports

• Liaise with commercial manager, Project planner and construction team on a regular basis to ensure timely purchase of required materials and services.

• Manage the contract tender process including issue of documentation for bid packages ensuring that all documentation include invitation letter, scope, drawings, specification etc.

• Carry out commercial analysis of quotations and provide recommendations.

• Assist in the awarding and execution of all contracts including chairing of pre-start meetings.

Currently, this position is located in our project office in Sydney CBD, with regular site visits. Accommodation and meals will be provided through the project camp/village which is being constructed to accommodate 1000+ personnel. Camp facilities include Large Gym, Recreational Areas, Sports and Multi-Purpose Fields. Lifestyle and wellbeing coaches will also be available to all personnel. Our Central-West Orana project is currently seeking a dedicated Area Manager to share their expertise within our growing Transmission Lines team. You will be responsible for overseeing a scope of activities related to the structural assembly and erection of transmission tower structures for this high-voltage transmission line project. 

This role ensures that construction activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and company policies. The Area Manager will lead a team of tower erectors, riggers, and subcontractors, ensuring that all work is completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Quality, Environmental, and Safety Management – Ensures integration of quality, environmental, and safety procedures, including compliance with WH&S regulations, defect resolution, and promoting a culture of safety among project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.

• Project Safety Oversight – Implements and enforces the Project Safety Plan, monitors high-risk activities, investigates incidents, and liaises with safety authorities to maintain a safe working environment.

• Construction Supervision – Manages transmission line construction activities, ensuring work aligns with schedules, budgets, and technical specifications while coordinating teams and resolving on-site issues.

• Operational Coordination – Oversees foundation works, tower erection, and conductor stringing, ensuring adherence to design criteria and best practices while leading site teams and subcontractors.

• Resource Management – Ensures efficient allocation of manpower, equipment, and materials, coordinating logistics to prevent project delays and optimizing supply chain operations.

• Scheduling and Reporting – Monitors project progress, maintains schedules, prepares status reports, and resolves project challenges to meet deadlines and milestones.

• Financial Accountability – Manages project budgets, monitors financial performance, and ensures profitability through accurate cost forecasting and strategic financial planning.

• Contract and Compliance Management – Ensures adherence to contract requirements, negotiates subcontractor agreements, and collaborates with commercial managers on legal and administrative aspects.

• Design and Performance Management – Oversees project design development, monitors consultant performance, conducts site meetings, and fosters staff training to enhance operational efficiency.

• Stakeholder Engagement – Maintains strong relationships with clients, regulatory bodies, landowners, and environmental agencies while aligning project objectives with client expectations and business goals.

Minimum Skills & Qualifications:

• Preferable 10 years’ experience in a construction/engineering environment

• Bachelor degree in Engineering

• Experience working in high-voltage transmission projects (330 kV and above) is an advantage

• Expertise in foundation construction, tower erection and conductor stringing

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others

• Presented problem solving / analytical skills

• Demonstrated relevant leadership skills

• Ensuring all relevant regulatory requirements are satisfied

• Competent in planning and organising work schedules

ACEREZ, a partnership of ACCIONA, COBRA and Endeavour Energy, has been appointed network operator by EnergyCo to design, build, finance, operate and maintain the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) transmission network. The ACCIONA COBRA Joint Venture (ACJV), the design and construct (D&C) consortium, will design and build the Central-West Orana REZ transmission project.

The new transmission network infrastructure will deliver at least 4.5 gigawatts of new network capacity from 2028 to connect 7.7 gigawatts of wind and solar projects, which is enough to power more than 2 million homes each year.

Our Central-West Orana project is currently seeking a dedicated Payroll Administrator to share their expertise within our growing finance team. You'll manage Payroll data coming in from the project, reconcile, review and liaise with the employing entities to make sure all weekly and monthly pays are accurate. This role will also provide financial support to stakeholders, book and manage travel and drive improvements in policies and systems that will directly impact this historic project.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate submission of employee timesheets on a regular basis.

• Send out reminders to employees for timesheet submission and resolve any issues related to timesheet discrepancies.

• Review timesheets for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company policies.

• Coordinate with department heads to verify and approve submitted timesheets.

• Collect, review, and input employee time and attendance data

• Maintain and update employee records

Job Description

Located within Sydney CBD with some weekly contractor yard visits, the Import Sea Freight Forwarder will be accountable for managing the importation then delivery to site of project cargo for one of NSW largest infrastructure projects expected to commence JULY 2025.

The primary focus of the position will be to ensure global shipments are delivered in accordance with the project requirements and deadlines.

Ensure all aspects of customs clearance, duties, and required documentation is adhered to for imported cargo pre collection by third party transport contractors.

Oversee Transport contractor loads and deliveries to project with some yard and warehouse visits expected within role.

Manage costs for international shipments, ensuring adherence to contracted rates is maintained.

Minimum Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience working in a supply chain team, preferably logistics concentrating on Internal Sea Freight Deliveries, documentation and clearances

• National level road transport knowledge

• Experience in managing and liaising with key stakeholders (e.g. Freight Forwarders, Suppliers, Internal Customers).

• University or Tafe education in logistics (or similar studies) is preferred though not essential

• Quality Assurance: Ensure all construction works meet specifications and relevant standards, including checking Hold and Witness Points and managing non-conformances.

• Safety Management: Implement and adhere to project-specific safety plans, conduct hazard assessments, and ensure all personnel are inducted and aware of safety measures.

• Leadership & Supervision: Provide positive leadership to subcontractors, monitor their performance, and ensure high standards of workmanship and safety.

• Resource Coordination: Plan and manage the movement of materials, plant, and equipment to ensure efficient and safe project execution.

• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records, reports, and ensure compliance with ACEREZ D&C management system procedures and legislative requirements.

• Planning & Operations: Develop short-term programs, ensure resource levels are adequate, and manage subcontractors to meet project timelines and efficiency targets.
