Our Central-West Orana Transmission Project is currently seeking a dedicated Community Place Manager to share their expertise within our growing Community and Stakeholder team.

In this role, you will assist with the delivery of communication and community engagement activities outlined in the project's Communication and Engagement Management Plan, enabling the successful delivery of a State Significant Infrastructure energy project.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the key point of contact for project-related information in the Central-West Orana region and keep the community and stakeholders informed about construction activities.

• Work closely with the Construction Team and the Environment Team onsite to effectively address community and stakeholder concerns.

• Provide advice and support on feedback channels to ensure the community and stakeholders' needs are heard and responded to.

• Lead the development of project collateral such as notifications, fact sheets, media releases, brochures, newsletters, social media content and various other publications.

• Support the leadership team with implementation of community engagement obligations and provide on-the-ground support and stakeholder insights.

• Manage the Consultation Manager database and assist with the preparation of daily, weekly, fortnightly, and monthly reports.

• Responds to telephone calls and written enquiries and complaints and undertake investigations of such complaints.

• Adhere to project quality, safety, environmental and community protocols and communicate them to project team members, including suppliers and subcontractors.

• Promote a positive safety and environmental culture.

• Maintain and apply all relevant standards, policies, guidelines and legislative requirements necessary to support responsible decisions and courses of action.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant WHS legislative requirements.

• Lead by example through meeting your personal KPIs whilst supporting the wider project team member(s) to meet overarching project milestones.

Criteria for selection

• Minimum 3-5 years of industry experience in a stakeholder/communications/marketing/customer services role.

• Experience in the utilities, energy, engineering, construction or associated industries is highly desirable.

• Professional qualification in Social Science/Public Policy/Communications/Marketing, or equivalent industry experience.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently to prioritise project demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet strict deadlines and follow through within a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will work closely with Executive Leadership Team, Planning Manager, Project Managers, Planners, to collect, analyse, and interpret data related to project performance, resource utilisation, cost control, and risk management. This role is critical in enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyse data from various sources including project management software, ERP systems, and field reports

• Develop dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs such as project timelines, budget adherence, labor productivity, and equipment usage

• Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement across construction projects

• Collaborate with planning and operations teams to forecast resource needs and project timelines

• Support cost estimation and budgeting through historical data analysis

• Assist in risk analysis by identifying potential delays or cost overruns using predictive models

Our Central-West Orana project is currently seeking a dedicated HR Coordinator that will be responsible for working closely with leaders, employees, candidates and various internal / external stakeholders, providing efficient and timely coordination, guidance, exemplary service and support across the full employee life cycle and other 360 HR activities. The role will serve as an effective conduit between different departments and people to influence, manage and deliver the objectives of the HR function.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for all HR Coordination activities efficiently and effectively, in a timely manner to ensure the needs of the business are met

• Build effective relationships with the business and provide coaching & guidance on procedures / process to meet customer focused HR service delivery and manage expectations

• Manage multiple / conflicting priorities efficiently, multi-tasking effectively, be resilient and solutions driven to deliver results in challenging situations

Currently, this position is located in our project office in Sydney CBD, with occasional site visits. Once the project is fully operational, it will transition to a 14/7 roster-based arrangement out of the Central West Orana Region.

Our Central-West Orana project is currently seeking a dedicated Site Engineer to share their expertise within our growing Civil Team. In this role, you will coordinate and control engineering activities for the project, including technical, inspection, scheduling, planning, survey, procurement, and quality control tasks. You will ensure effective communication and coordination across all disciplines and project activities.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all quality, environmental, and safety aspects of the project are addressed, maintaining effective operation and project delivery, and initiate corrective actions for non-conformances

• Prepare Inspection Test Reports, conduct internal audits on project suppliers and subcontractors, and maintain compliance with all relevant HSE policies, guidelines, and legislative requirements

• Lead by example in meeting safety KPIs, ensuring project team members and subcontractor supervisors also meet their safety KPIs, and continually assess and control high-risk activities and hazards

• Provide support in planning materials, resources, and systems usage within the project, assisting with the development and implementation of construction planning documents

• Manage the operational aspects of work crews to ensure effective use of systems and processes, monitor progress, and advise the Project Engineer on significant changes and remedial actions

• Coordinate resource allocation, track subcontractor resources daily, prepare cost plans, and monitor resourcing against the agreed budget, reporting variances to the Project Engineer

• Maintain project schedule by monitoring progress, coordinating activities, preparing project status reports, and assisting with change orders

• Manage cost control, identify and forecast risks and opportunities, produce daily costings, review subcontractor payments, and implement controls for cost recoveries and variations
