This is a full time, permanent position, living away from home in Merotherie, NSW. This will be a bus in - bus out position, working overtime on a 14/7 roster.

Our Central-West Orana project is currently seeking A dedicated OEM Electrical Manager to manage interface within our growing Substation team. This position will work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, procurement, construction, and quality assurance, to ensure that all aspects of the project are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Lead third party interfaces with OEM suppliers, the client and consultants and build relationships through the delivery of the Project
Manage requirements of third party agreements and reporting tools to exhibit compliance. Management of these requirements through Project Delivery gates (Design to Commissioning) is a key deliverable for this role

You will work closely with Site Quality Engineers to ensure timely review, verification and completion of Quality records, prepare for quality audits, and train employees on AS/NZS ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
Assist Quality Manager in developing, implementing and monitoring the Project Quality Assurance Plan, including ITPs and ITCs that reflect client requirements

The role involves designing substation primary engineering for substations up to 500kV, ensuring compliance with standards and customer requirements. It includes optimizing designs considering constraints, performing detailed substation calculations, and ensuring clash-free layouts through coordination. Responsibilities also cover defining design subsystems for accurate costing, specifying high-voltage equipment, and interfacing with multiple disciplines while reviewing technical documents and system studies.

About the role
The Industry and Employment Advisor supports the facilitation and delivery of programs and training to increase local employment, Aboriginal participation and supply chain and workforce diversity. Working closely with Aboriginal community groups, local training and support service providers, funding bodies and key stakeholders to drive the delivery of outcomes within the Central-West Orana region. The selected candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of project transport systems while adhering to Australian Standards and Main Roads Codes of Practice. This role requires expertise in assessing and designing complex traffic management plans, conducting pre-planning and risk assessments, and overseeing the progressive stages of long-term projects.
