Our Central-West Orana REZ transmission project is currently seeking a dedicated Traffic Manager to share their expertise in our growing project team.

The selected candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of project transport systems while adhering to Australian Standards and Main Roads Codes of Practice. This role requires expertise in assessing and designing complex traffic management plans, conducting pre-planning and risk assessments, and overseeing the progressive stages of long-term projects. As the site is in regional NSW an hour north of Mudgee, the successful candidate should live in the region or in Sydney and be able and willing to travel to site as required.

Key responsibilities

• Preparing, reviewing and implementing effective traffic management plans that meet client, community and project requirements

• Carrying out regular inspections of the traffic control measures to ensure that they are effective

• Amending and updating the plans, as required, to ensure that they remain current as the work progresses

The Central-West Orana REZ Transmission Project is seeking Multiskilled Plant Operators to join our transmission line team.

Successful candidates will be required to travel to, and live in Merotherie NSW on a 14/7 roster, working 10-12 hour days. Accommodation and meals will be provided unless local to the Merotherie area who we encourage to apply.

Key responsibilities

• Operate variety of machinery to perform bulk earth works including cut and fill, trenching and compaction for 240km transmission line

• Prepare and level ground for transmission tower foundations and access roads

• Ensure proper drainage and erosion control measures are implemented

• Assist in excavation and backfilling for concrete foundations and footings

• Support installation of formwork, reinforcement, and concrete pours as required.

The planner will provide analytical support, identify risks, and suggest mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.

• Specialised knowledge of project scheduling ideally within a major electrical infrastructure project

• Ensure all quality, environmental, and safety aspects of the project are addressed, maintaining effective operation and project delivery, and initiate corrective actions for non-conformances

• Ensure all construction works meet specifications and relevant standards

• Overseeing the safe construction and dismantling of temporary support structures, processing plants, temporary power, and other temporary systems to support the permanent works

• Implement and adhere to project-specific safety plans, conduct hazard assessments, and ensure all personnel are inducted and aware of safety measures

• Provide positive leadership to subcontractors, monitor their performance, and ensure high standards of workmanship and safety

• Maintenance & Repair: Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing both mobile and fixed plant machinery
